I recently came across an interesting article on MSN asking the question, “Are Left-Handed People Smarter?”. This article suggests that indeed left-handed people do historically have a higher IQ score than right-handed people. The downside is that they tend to have worse memories.
Famous “smart people” such as Isaac Newton, Ben Franklin, Albert Einstein, and almost all of our presidents over the last 30 years have all been left-handed.

i only scored 101 🙁 i am left handed and i find i am terrible at math! good with anything visual though.
got 123 on the IQ test, but 128 on the spacial IQ test!

Im a lefty and I scored 96. I think lefties would suck in this because this is way to rational. Left handed people are more visual than rational, and that’s what this IQ quiz is all about. It aint really fair…
This is not true. I know a lot of lefties that are just retarded. Although I noticed that they like working. Well, I heard a theory that being a lefty is not normal that’s why they tend to exercise their brain more so that they can function to that disability. Maybe that’s why they think lefties are smarter.
I’m a lefty and biological information proves that lefties are smarter because they use their right hemisphere of the brain for vivid vision[picture] that summarizes for their Artistic being..So,how can they be artistic if they have poor memories and where is their smartness based on if not for the brain?In general,everyone is smarter and unique..
I have done/ given IQ tests three times. Once I scored 128, some months later 122, and two years ago scored 142… But there are so many kinds of IQ tests. The last one was so easy I think. lol.
@ teletubby: I am left handed and have much more comon sense and perception than anyone I know, except for my daughter who is left handed, she’s the only person I can hold an intelligent conversation with. I have a bad memory, yes, but that’s because we think at a higher level and don’t have a need to remember mindless crap. YOU are the retard, not us.
I only eat and write with my left hand but I do everything else on my right hand like throwing, cutting etc!
